How is it installed?
You clip our power sensors over each of the wires in the breaker box that you want to monitor. These sensors are plugged into the nexus. You then plug the Nexus into your home or office network. Online, you name each of the channels and can instantly see the power readings as they are sampled.

What can you monitor?
We can monitor any circuit that is wired back to your breaker box or any other central location you can access. Since each breaker protects an individual circuit, you can monitor anything with its own breaker. Most large power users (hot water, air conditioning, lighting, kitchen) tend to have seperate breakers so these are easy to monitor.

How does it work?
The Nexus in your home opens a connection back to our servers and streams sensor readings. When you log into the site we then forward these readings back to your browser. Do you offer a Warantee or Guarantee?
Yes. If the GridSpy solution we sell you is not suitable for your purposes you can return it within 30 days for a full refund.
We also offer a lifetime hardware replacement Warantee and will replace your nexus without cost if there is a hardware malfunction. 

How much does it cost?
3 AC circuits monitored live costs $950 NZD (around $670 USD) with a recurring subscription of $10 NZD per month. You can buy one from the GridSpy shop

Do you sell direct?
We do indeed sell direct to you. You can purchase a Nexus today from the GridSpy shop.

Can I host my own server?
We don't offer a self-hosted solution at present but it is something that we are willing to explore.

Can I upload power readings from my existing devices?
We would like to develop an API where you can push your sensor readings online
